Brittany SullivanPassion for DanceFouetté Academy of Dance
Brittany began dancing at the age of 3 and was professionally trained in a variety of disciplines including ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, modern/contemporary, jazz funk, heels, Miami bass, ballroom, and hip hop. In 2005, she was accepted into the Universal Ballet Academy in Washington, DC. Also during her adolescent career, Brittany was part of a Junior and Senior Level company and Tap Troupe for both competition and performance.
In high school, she began cheerleading and was part of both the Varsity and Competition teams through out four years.
Meanwhile, Brittany was also a competitive figure skater since the age of 6 and competed through the University level winning a national title for the University of Delaware in 2011.
She have been choreographing and coaching in the sport for the past 11 years.
After entering university, she decided to focus more on entering the professional realm of cheerleading and dancing. Brittany began her professional career as an NHL Philadelphia Flyers Ice Girl and then as an AFL SoulMates Cheerleader within the 2012/2013 seasons.
During this time she also performed during an NFL Atlanta Falcons half time show.
In 2014 Brit became a member of the NHL NJ Devils Dancers at which time she was also training in Miami Florida.
Following the season with the Devils she permanently moved to Miami to pursue her ultimate goal of becoming a Miami Heat Dancer which she accomplished in August of 2014. During this time, she also had the opportunity to perform with artists such as Pitbull and Flo Rida as well as participate in commercials, videos, and award shows.
After moving to Toronto 2 1/2 years ago, Brittany decided to focus on her teaching career and have taught at multiple studios and schools across the GTA for both children and adults.
Brittany have experience with both recreational and highly competitive students.
Her competitive numbers and dancers have received a multitude of awards and scholarships throughout this time.
