Passion for DanceFouetté Academy of Dance
Dancing since the age of 4, Kaleriya has carried on her passion for dance ever since. She first started to gain her creativity and flexibility in rhythmic gymnastics, where she then decided that dance was her ultimate passion. With this, she advanced to be professionally trained in acro, tumbling, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, and modern, as well as cultural styles such as dancehall, afrobeats, and soca.
She has choreographed for and been a part of various performances in the GTA, concerts, and music videos. Kaleriya continues to teach workshops around the GTA as well. She also continues to attend specialized competitions, seminars, and workshops pertaining to her styles in order to ensure she comes with fresh ideas and methods for her classes. Her choreography has granted her the “Choreography of the Year” and “Leadership” awards, which is something she is very thankful for.
Kaleriya has taught students ranging from ages 18 months all the way to adult and always tries to bring creative and challenging ideas forward to students in order to promote growth. She hopes that her dedication and passion will help students feel motivated and self-confident at Fouetté!
