She was born and educated in Russia.
Successfully accomplished St. Petersburg Humanitarian University of Trade Unions. Bachelor’s Degree (Specialization – artistic director of the creative team. Teacher-Choreographer), St. Petersburg, Russia.
Studied ballet dance technique at the Vaganova system.
Skills: in ballet, jazz dance technique, contemporary dance, step, contact improvisation, yoga, stretching.
After successful graduation from the University Sokolova became an instructor in Academy of Arts teaching modern dance, classical dance, historical dance and folk-stage dance. She has been invited in more than twenty theatre performances as an on-stage choreographer.
